Trackday Footage - Best place to mount my GoPro HD??????

I'll be doing my very 1st trackday at JenningsGP approx. 9 days from today. I recently purchased a GoPro HD in efforts to get everything on footage. What would be the best possible place to mount my cam? I'm riding a 2005 zx6r.

    Helmet? Side fairing? Front fairing/windscreen?

I've always been partial to the behind the windscreen mounting location with a bit of a fisheye lens.

    Pimpin' ain't easy ...

Mount it on the nose of the bike, just under the wind screen. I've mounted mine there and the video quality is good. Check my FB page for videos so you can see the angle, view, etc.

    Yes

I'll probably go with the nose of the bike, right under the windscreen. Maybe after day 2 I'll move it to the back so folks can critique my riding technique, body position, etc.....im sure there will be plenty of that to go around!!! LOL!!

I can always count on .com for meaningful input!!!! THANKS!!

DO NOT mount it to your exhaust mount thingy.  too much vibration transfer...  No

It depends on what you're going for.  If you're looking for feedback, do like you said and mount it on the rear looking forward, or on the front looking back at you.  If you're going for an interesting shot, you'll have to move it around since the same view gets old after a while.  I really like the ones where you can see the suspension working (looking at the front wheel with the fork in the shot, or looking backward at the rear wheel).

You have plenty of mounts and can get more...use em Yes

In this picture I have pointed out a good location of where I have placed one of my cameras.  I simply bonded it to the fairing and it works perfectly......

Is the arrow pointing to the inside of the upper fairiing on the side? If so, I like that spot.

Im looking to record both myself, and also get some footage of the track. Most likely I'll rotate between facing foward, behind me facing foward, and in the front facing backward.

I don't think you will be able to fit a GoPro in there, remember you will use ALL of your fork travel at the track under hard braking.  Just make sure to keep that in mind.

It is attached to the upper fairing on the side..........  I mounted the bullet camera to the top and nearest the front..........  I dont know the size of the Go-Pro so check the possible interference as others have mentioned.....  We dont want any mishaps..............

Thanks TJS71!!!! He's absolutely right, no way that cam would fit there SAFELY.......i'll be bringing my mounts with me so someone down there can lead me in the right direction. But as i already figured, I'll be putting one on the rear facing foward, then front facing me, and most likely front fairing to get footage of track, etc.
