I mean I'm a newb, so... I don't really know many cool roads for bikes.  Was sorta hoping some people could throw out suggestions and maybe a group of us could get together to do some riding and maybe grab a bite or something along those lines.  Any suggestions?

I lived in MoCo for a couple of months and I realized that with all them Mexicans out there doing stupid shyt. I was bound to find myself explain some shyt to MoCo PoPo or INS one day that I'm not one of them peoples with pony tails from South of the Border................................. and with my luck, that shyt would happen on a Friday and won't get to see a magistrate or judge till Tuesday or Wednsday. Fack that!................ If I do go I ain't stopping for shyt.

Let me know, I'm due for some excitement in my life. FACK IT!

Back on topic... Sounds like a cool idea!  However, make sure you have someone or more with experience participating on the ride who knows the roads, the route, what to do incase of emergency, so on and so forth... Not wise to have the blind leading to blind....

My girl brought me to the Verano Zol concert last weekend at the moco fair grounds, Luis Enrique, Victor Manuelle, Elvis Crespo, etc, etc.

I was the ONLY white person out of thousands.  The up side?  I had a great view no matter where I stood because I could see over everyone's heads, lol.

Not suggesting that.  Just trying to kick off conversation.  Was really hoping there would be some salty old veterans around with the day off and desire to ride.  The type of generous souls who enjoys passing on their knowledge to newbs with big enthusiasm, but little experience.  Any such wonderful people around?

I'm right by Germantown and have off work on Friday. If this gets organized I'd probably be down. I just moved back into the area a little while ago so I don't really have any great ride routes in mind, but I'll see if my buddy is off too, he should know some good roads.

I have my 100-mile HoCo-Carroll-Frederick loop that starts at the route 32 and 70 park and ride which I'd be more than happy to take you out on. 80% twisties, most roads are pretty clean. No ballin, just some fun in the turns.

I'd be down for NB too. As long as the sun is shining, I'm down for whatever.

Thanks for steppin up SS.  I'm liking the sound of the 70/32 PnR loop.  Is 10:30am late enough for everyone to avoid any traffic?

If Shorty can't make it, I'd be more than happy to lead a ride.  For those of you who know her, I'll be on my 600 since my 1k is waiting on parts.  The ride will be 2- 2 1/2 hours and I'm down to grab lunch somewhere if you guys want to.  The pace will definitely be newb friendly, but for those who like to get a little speed in the straightaways or in the corners, you'll be able to get your kicks too.  Shorty gets first dibs though.
