How ironic is this thread right now.....
Anyway, I didn't end up having to buy this myself because the person whose HD camcorder I had borrowed actually had the software that came with the camera installed on their MAC. So they just converted it to .mov there for me and I was good...
Up until that point though, I was looking at having to purchase this www.avs4you.com
The trial works, but it puts a silly watermark on the output file.... Sigh...
