    new rider in MD

    hi i'm a new rider, just picked up a 600rr.  been riding nonstop, but i'm looking for some good routes.  any recommendations?  i'm around the silver spring area but don't mind riding out for some good roads.

    Not really in SIlver SPring..You have to go a liottle farther out..Frederick...Back roads off of New Hampsure Ave..Ellicott City...

    yeah that's what i figured.  sounds good.  i'm also thinking about doing a "try the track" event. but maybe it's alittle too early? i've only had tags on the bike for like 2 weeks, but have alittle over 2k miles and am feel pretty comfortable with the bike on the street.  i assume the TTT's are pretty lax no? 

     

    also how many posts before i can see the ride routes section?

    Yeah..I think its too early..Take a riding class (cornerspeed)first. Youll be glad you did
